How Do I Get Rid of Constant Pop-Up Ads On My Computer For Free? HELP!!!!!?

Please help! Every time I surf the net or even while going to a single web page I get at least 2 to 3 pop up ads that I did not ask for. Somebody or some site did this to me and I am so upset I am fighting tears. My computer crashed from spyware in January ’07 which destoyed my entire system so bad that the system restore did not even work or help and I lost everything in my Word Pad & Picture documents, etc., and when I was finally able to get a new computer in April it was perfect. But all of the sudden yesterday, here we go again, please help me. What do I need to do to get rid of all this spyware with the best FREE download program on the planet and STOP all these weird pop-up ads from popping up out of nowhere?????

get some adware and spyware detectors. Some free good ones are "spybot search and destroy" and "lavasoft adaware" also keep your anti virus up to date, and have a firewall installed and turned on. After getting the spyware programs, both are free, update them and scan your entire computer.

Both yahoo and google each have toolbars that will work with IE browers and most of the other ones, they include a popup blocker. Choose the one you like the best or use the most.

Also it would be a good idea to run a scan with your spyway protection software, such as windows defender, spybot, anti superspyware. As spyware can cause pop ups.

    MESSENGER SPAM !
    you have messenger spam
NOT to be confused with your instant messenger/s

    start
    all programs
    administrative tools
    services

all services are in alphabetical order

    Alerter–
    right click
    select properties
    from drop down menu
    select disable

    Messenger–
    same thing as above

these are ports left open in the XP windows version but closed in Vista.

Download, update and run Spybot—http://www.safer-networking.org/…… . Don’t forget to use the Immunize feature.

    Download, update and run SuperAntiSpyware—http://www.snapfiles.com/get/SuperAntiSpyware.html

Now to prevent spyware from being installed in the first place….

    Download SpywareBlaster—http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html…
SpywareBlaster doesn’t scan and clean for spyware – it prevents it from ever being installed.

    It’s main features include:
    - Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
    - Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
    - Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.

Let me guess you have net zero, o well if not just remember after you install a program if you go back to the fire wall. You will see all the programs that you have downloaded in the past are still open in the fire wall. That’s just like having holes in your firewall, i do not know why they don’t tell us this but every time i download a program i reset the fire wall, then click and run all my programs so the fire wall aether asks me or it learns what i want to come in or out.
