I have some serious lag and double underlined words?

I use Google Chrome as my browser, and starting a couple of days ago, it started to lag really bad and random words would be underlined, indicating an ad. The lag I’m encountering is pages taking longer to load than usual and any flash utility stuttering with the graphical output, but in things like videos, the sound would continue even though the page is frozen.

I’ve been told by one source that it may be the google redirect virus, but upon running countless scans with both Norton and other free online scanners, now results turn up, but the problem still remains.

What can I do to get rid of whatever has infected my computer?

I have used google for a long time too until recently it was lagging like yours… I never really knew what was going on; so i decided to end it with internet explorer and go with firefox i haven’t had that problem yet.
try firefox

OK, try these things…Da*n I hate typing this much.
First two are small executable, no need to install.
Rkill. Read the description (so I don’t have to explain)

Tdsskiller. The download link is at the bottom of the page, zip file.

If you don’t have MBAM..You should, at least for this scan.
