Is there any way to find out who’s flagging an ad on Craigslist?

There’s a guy who posts constantly in the cars + trucks by owner section for my area who’s clearly a dealer. 30-50 ads daily for cars between 2000 & 2009, the bodies of the ads are worded the same with the same phone number. He’s a dealer. I’ve been considering a new daily driver & this guy’s ads are annoying to weed through. I was flagging each one as "miscategorized", once, as I came to it. I was doing it from my phone. In the middle of my car shopping I see an "ad" at the top of the list with the title "Hey flagging guy" then my cell phone number. The body of the ad said "if u don’t stop I’ll put ur address up here" His ads were still up. I emailed him explaining why I flagged him (his car ads have no CL email addresses) & that posting my number wasn’t allowed by CL. Which was dumb because then he had my name from my email, so then he posted a re: to his own ad with my phone number in the title including my name & the body of the email I sent him. I reported it to CL & the "ads" were quickly removed, along with his car ads & no one else on the site seemed to care, but I was wondering how he got my phone number & address? I was flagging from mobil web, not the app & my phone is linked to my CL account, but I wasn’t signed in & I was under the impression that you couldn’t find out who flagged you. Not to mention that if you Google my phone number its will only tell you the town the prefix came from, not my address. I’m a little worried. This guy doesn’t seem like the kind I want knowing where I live. How did he find out I was flagging him & my address?

Look at your state’s laws on harassment. Show the ad with your number. Press charges.
