My teacher falsely accused me for something i didn’t do and he wrote me up. idk what to do?

I knew it from the beginning of the school year, my physics teacher had some bad vibe. He always had something to say about me, negative things. But today, I’ve had enough.

We have two teachers in our physics class and I asked Mr. Thompson if I could use the bathroom and he said yes. By the time I got to the door, Mr. McFlar asked "where are you going?" and I said "I’m going to the bathroom" and he said "No your not, your going to see Laura. Get back in" and I responded "Uhm, no I’m not. I really have to go whatever."

So I went to the bathroom and when I got out of the bathroom, I saw Laura (she’s a guidance aid. Guidance Aid – student who helps school environment by lending counselors a hand by distributing hall passes for certain individual pupils for scheduled appointments) and she asked me if I was going to be on the bus today and I said yes. Then Mr. McFlar saw me talking to Laura through the window on the door and started yelling "IF YOU LIE TO ME AGAIN, I’M WRITING YOU UP." Okay, me and Laura wasn’t going to have a long conversation since she had to give out hall passes and I have to go back to class plus I actually did went to the bathroom so last time I checked, I didn’t lie.

When I got back to class, Mr. McFlar wrote me up. So it looks like he was the one who lied because Laura and I remember him saying "IF YOU EVER LIE TO ME AGAIN (<–keyword), I’M WRITING YOU UP".

1) I did not lie to him. I actually needed to go to the bathroom.
2) I never lied to him even once.
3) He was the one who lied about the "again" part.

He handed me the detention slip and the reason stated: LYING ABOUT GOING TO BATHROOM. How is that even possible when he was in class teaching or maybe he’s not even doing his job and he’s just too busy watching me.

I’m going to school for me and only for me and this teacher is blocking my full potential of earning a successful education and it is simply unacceptable.

1.Get a principal when you get to school.
2. Tell him/her about the slip and restroom.
3.Then do whatever you thinks right!

From his POV you went to go chitchat with Laura even if you did go to the bathroom as well.

    Sorry.

Are you kidding me?? First off, if you are in an advanced class such as physics I would assume your grammar be better. If your teacher tells you you can’t go to the restroom and you walk out anyway I think you should have been reprimanded.

AND if you feel this teacher is "blocking your potential" (yeah right) then why leave. Stay in class instead of going to the restroom, be the best student you can for yourself and stop blaming others.

Talk to the principal, or some other authority figure in the schooling system that could fix this for you. Explain what happened, and make it clear that you did not lie about going to the bathroom, and you had permission from another teacher. If you really did have permission, ask the teacher to vouch for you and say that he said you could go. If you tell someone this, there’s no reason for you to get in trouble and have to serve the detention.

I can see his point of view. Next time use the bathroom before his class.

You have defended yourself very well here. Write a letter to the principal or dean and explain to him or her what happened. Also show the letter to your parents and elicit their help.
Did he not tell you to see Laura for a hall pass?
One thing though- if Laura is your girlfriend, I have misunderstood this, but still, if you went to the bathroom, which is what you said you were going to do- you did not lie.

He may be one of those perverted teachers that gets his jollies from harassing young girls until he gets them where he wants them. Then starts telling them that if they want to stay out of trouble they have to sleep with him. Or, He’s just a a.s.s.hole. Either way this is one of those things your parents should handle. There are teachers that really try. There are some that "feel" there importance and like to show certain kids that they are below them. Besides, If he told you that you could leave for whatever reason that’s all that matters. If you went out the door to use the restroom OK, If you went out the door to scratch your butt that’s OK to. He excused you. He’s being a prick. Your mom or dad should handle this and put him in his place. His job is to teach to the best of his ability. Not harass over something as insignificant as whether you pee or not.

I don’t see anything wrong with your grammar. You are a lot better than most teens nowadays. Talk to the principal or counselor and have Laura with you so she can even say what happened. The teacher was out of line. If you gotta go you gotta go and you had permission from the other teacher.

You said that he said he wanted you to see something, maybe you could have waited until he was done showing you something before going to the bathroom? Or maybe I misunderstood what you said?

First off it’s illegal for a teacher to tell a student they can not go to the bathroom. My school ran into this problem when I went there. One girl was told she couldn’t go to the bathroom and she held it as long as she could and she wound up peeing herself in class, the school made her attend the rest of the day in her wet pants and it was only the 3rd class out of 9. Her mother took her to the doctor and she wound up with a UTI. The school had to pay for pain and suffering and medical bills when the parent took the school to court.

The problem though is you were talking to Laura and that’s what he told you not to do. You can try to fight it, but the fact you were supposed to be going to the bathroom, not talking to anyone.

You need to realize you are not a queen. With an attitude like yours you are going to be a regular visitor to the principal’s office. He looked out the window and saw you talking with another student in the hall so of course he thinks you are lying.
