Is advertising on The Knot.com worth the money for a makeup artist?

I can barley pay the bills I have but I want to advertise for my on site makeup business..I know word of mouth is best but Im not from the place I currently live and dont know a lot of people. The knot.com wants $121 a month for advertsing online and in their print ad with a 12 month contract and 25% cancellation fee for cancellation after 6 months. I just dont know I have a lot of things to pay off but what if I will be missing out of tons of business…Even if I just kept the knot.com to make my money back for the year I would have to get at least 8-9 small bridal parties or 4 large ones Please Help I want to make money not lose it

Read the reviews on reviewcentre.com before you sign up. The Knot has lots of good features and lots of information. It also has too many ads and an unintuitive design.

In a down economy, you can not count on making money from a website.
